New Business Sales Lead – Software Testing solutions
PMC are a leading UK Retail IT consultancy, with experience of working with many of the best known high street retailers. Our range of services is extensive, from consulting and project management, through to implementation services, application support, testing services and software development.
In recent years our Testing Services team has grown significantly through the winning of new business, and through growing of contracts with existing clients. For PMC, continuing this growth is key, so we are looking for an experienced New Business Sales Lead to take ownership of delivering our stretching revenue and margin targets.
The role The focus of the role is to target future potential Testing clients, and actively manage the full sales process from initial contact through to contract signature. You will lead client negotiations, and work with the testing team and PMC senior management to ensure that all potential contracts meet agreed targets. Through market understanding and working with the PMC testing team, you will also actively evolve our Testing propositions, ensuring that they meet the needs of current and future clients. Your background
You will have extensive experience of achieving stretching revenue/margin targets in an IT services environment. Proven experience of selling software testing solutions is essential, ideally with an understanding of the retail marketplace.
You will be highly client credible, with strong experience in leading client pitches and negotiations. With excellent relationship building skills, you will be able engage with clients to form a lasting relationship.
You will be structured in approach, and able to build and execute a sales plan to meet your target.

The role We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the project management group within PMC. This is an exciting role for PMC, as we look to expand our team and focus on growing the breadth of client project areas we provide project/programme management for. This role will be pivotal to our success, and will focus in a number of key areas:
• Take ownership and management of the project management team, ensuring that all projects delivered follow the PMC structured methodology and are delivered to a high standard. • Manage specific project client engagements from inception to completion, delivering on time to a high quality and within budget. • Support the development of the team, providing leadership and coaching to support their continued development. • Represent the project management function during pre sales activity for current and new accounts. • Work with business partners and your network to ensure that the project management team targets are successfully delivered, through maintaining high levels of team utilisation. • Establish, build and maintain good working relationships with client and project stakeholders, at many levels. • Support the broader PMC business to utilise the PMC structured methodology, providing guidance and training through your team as required.
Your profile You will have a strong track record of delivering successful projects across a range of retail business areas. With an excellent knowledge of the retail industry, you will have a good understanding of project life cycles and will bring a high level of project management rigour to the role. With good people management experience, you will have experience of leading a team and developing the skills of others. You will be highly client credible, with excellent communication skills and experience of successful engagement in pre sales activity. With an adaptable style, you will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
